What I’ve Been Up To Lately

As you have probably gathered from all the blog content and social media activity, the last couple of months have been jam-packed full of events. Not that I’m complaining, I like keeping busy, but earlier in June it started to feel like I couldn’t keep up. Aside from blogging duties, there were also several birthdays, a hen do, an anniversary and a wedding to contend with… it was too much. At the end of May I promised myself I would take a step back from doing too much in June and July, in order to recharge my batteries and look after myself. Fast forward a couple of weeks and I’ve already made plans to go to three events and a festival – I’m my own worst enemy! I’m really excited to have these opportunities though and that I get to share them with you, whether it inspires or motivates you to do something a little bit different. Put the kettle on, as I recap what I’ve been up to lately and what you can look forward to coming up in and around the Cotswolds…

A Weekend at Wychwood Festival

Two festivals in a week – I wasn’t joking in my last post when I said that festival season was upon us! Keeping it local again, we headed to the Cheltenham Racecourse for music, food and other activities at the festival that Time Out calls “an excellent hybrid of the Big Chill, WOMAD and The Cambridge Folk Festival.” Celebrating its 15th year, here is what you can expect from a weekend at Wychwood Festival…

Mello Festival 2019

Festival season is upon us! The Cotswolds is home to a variety of fantastic festivals – from Cheltenham Festival (horse racing) and Cheltenham Festivals (Jazz, Science, Music and Literature), to The Big Feastival, we are really spoilt for choice. One festival I hadn’t come across before though was Mello, a family friendly festival based near Worcester. I was kindly invited to go along for the day, so with my best friend in tow, we made our way to Mello Festival…

The Cotswold Airport Revival Festival

Let’s escape back to the good old days for one weekend… The Cotswold Airport Revival Festival invites you to step back in time for a vintage and wartime extravaganza.

The revival may be over for this year but I hope this post will encourage you to mark your calendars for 2019 and come along to the next event…

Confetti Fields, Worcestershire

If you haven’t heard about the confetti fields in Worcestershire, I’m not quite sure where you’ve been. Open for just 10 days at the end of June/start of July, this flower field has become an Instagrammer’s pastel paradise and can be found all over social media. Whilst you’ll have to wait another year to capture the beauty with your own eyes (and cameras), here are a few snaps from my recent visit which may tempt you to add it to your 2019 calendar…

Let’s Catch Up: What’s Happening in Cheltenham

Well, look at that! Two months has flown by without me creating any new content. It’s not that I haven’t thought about it, I’ve definitely had all the guilty feels about neglecting my little corner of the internet. Sometimes, when life gets busy and sweeps you off your feet, it can feel a little overwhelming and all you want to do when you get home is pop on your pyjamas and curl up on the sofa watching Love Island. With plenty of new content to look forward to over the coming weeks, I thought I’d kick it off with a “let’s catch up” and chat about what’s happening in Cheltenham.

The Cotswolds Creative Market

All in aid of raising money for Action For Charity: Women v Cancer, bloggers and businesses from in and around the Cotswolds came together to sell new and pre-loved fashion items, crafts, food and other offerings at the very first Cotswolds Creative Market.

5 Things To Do In Cheltenham This Spring

Well well well, look who’s back with her blogging mojo! If you’ve not read my previous post then that will probably make zero sense so I’ll leave a link here for you to have a read. Going back to basics, I’m sitting down with a cuppa and sharing my list of 5 things to do in Cheltenham – because I feel like it’s about time I shared what makes this Spa town so darn special.
