Location: Snowshill, Cotswolds

I feel extremely lucky to be surrounded by so many lovely locations to visit on the weekend, or any day of the week for that matter, and I knew I had to share this particular place with you.

“Let nothing perish” – Charles Wade

Snowshill Manor, located near Broadway, is a scenic setting where you will find this Cotswold property previously owned by English architect and poet Charles Wade. Now owned by National Trust, you will discover rooms full of his trinkets and treasures, from clocks to instruments, all of which have been restored to be displayed for public admiration.

With a lovely tea room which serves hot and cold food to cakes and teas/coffee, to the beautiful gardens boasting apple trees and gorgeous greenery. You will also find words of wisdom by Charles Wade propped up next to several trees.

You can pay extra to enter the Tudor house, which is visibly half Georgian, or visit Mr Wade’s home, The Priest House, which is situated next door for free. A wonderful tourist attraction and a perfect destination for a day out with friends and family, no matter what the weather.
