A few weekends ago I stumbled upon THE most beautiful shop I think I have ever stepped into. You know, one of those hidden gems that you can’t wait to shout about from the rooftops, and on the blog of course. Cherryade is a lifestyle store situated in the heart of Poundbury, a new experimental town that is built on Duchy of Cornwall land, owned by none other than Prince Charles – fancy huh!?

Within seconds of stepping through the doors, I let out a loud gasp and uttered the words “when can I move in?!“. Aside from being totally Insta-worthy, there is a vast array of pretty products to suit all ages and interests. Gorgeous goodies from Meri-Meri and Ohh Deer, to name just two, can be found in this dreamy destination to tickle your fancy.

I balanced my camera in one hand so I could pick up products with the other as I browsed the store, discovering what would make perfect presents for Christmas. You know how it goes, one for them, one for me…

With a bright white aesthetic that highlights the colourful rainbow of goods, I’ll warn you now that it will take a lot of restraint to not buy everything in sight.

I can’t count the number of items I had to put down before making my way to the till point with just the ‘neccessary’ purchases. Sensible Sally reared its ugly head during the shopping spree to inform me that no I don’t need that ceramic coaster or every Rifle Paper Co card in sight… I’m inclined to disagree. Cherryade-Poundbury

From Cacti to books, everything is displayed so perfectly. Nothing is out of place.

It’s not difficult to pinpoint what makes Cherryade so special.

Whether you take pride in making your home picture perfect or are simply just Pinterest obsessed, the selection of items is spot on. The friendly staff make the visit worthwhile too, none of that constant ‘can I help you‘ business, they let you get on with your spending with the right amount of interaction.

I’m going to let the photos do the talking here.

I couldn’t resist picking up Sarah Knight’s ‘The Life Changing Magic of Not Giving a F***‘ and a funny greeting card from Ohh Deer.

If you don’t live in Dorset, keep an eye out on their website as an online-shop is on it’s way! I’d highly recommend a weekend trip if you fancy visiting somewhere new, it’s a blogger’s paradise!
