My favourite places to eat out in Cheltenham

This week marks seven years since I sat down to write my first blog post. Little did I know that I would still be sat here typing away on my laptop, creating content on this corner of the blogosphere seven years on. So to celebrate, I want to share seven of my favourite places to eat out in Cheltenham. Please note that there are many more I also enjoy visiting, so it was difficult narrowing it down to just seven. I want to give you a broad idea of the many different types of cuisine you can enjoy across the town, whatever the budget or occasion. Some of these are also great date night locations – in case you’re stuck for somewhere to take your other half this Valentines Day!

An Unforgettable Dinner at Pundits in Cheltenham

In over six years of blogging, I’ve been lucky to attend many launch parties and reviewed a lot of local restaurants, but this event was one of the most memorable of them all.

I was kindly invited to the grand opening of Pundits, a new Indian restaurant to Cheltenham, with the expectation of dining with local journalists and bloggers. Instead, we were seated on a table with the Mayor of Cheltenham and his lovely wife, the owner of Pundits and Gordon Ramsay *ahem* – with a feast of delicious Asian cuisine.

Continue reading as I tell you more about this unforgettable dinner at Pundits Indian Restaurant in Cheltenham – and why you need to make a visit.

Wellington Sunday at The Lygon Arms

For me, Sundays have always been about spending the day with loved ones and taking trips out to different corners of the Cotswolds. There are three key elements to what makes up my perfect Sunday – adventure, lots of laughter and plenty of good food and drink. Not necessarily a roast, but if you are looking for somewhere a little bit special that can offer delicious food and beautiful setting, let me tell you about Wellington Sunday at The Lygon Arms in Broadway.

A Slice of Italy at Fat Toni’s Pizzeria Cheltenham

I can’t believe it’s taken me this long to visit Fat Toni’s Pizzeria in Cheltenham.

You may have heard the rumours, and today I can confirm that the rumours are all true. Fat Toni’s is the daddy of pizza. A slice of Italy in your mouth. My new favourite eating spot in town.

Breakfast at The Botanist, Cheltenham

One of my favourite things to do on the weekend (or any day of the week for that matter) is to go out for brunch. We are truly spoilt in Cheltenham and across the Cotswolds with food options. Choosing where to eat on a Saturday or Sunday morning can prove difficult with so much choice and that’s before you have to decide on what to eat from the array of delicious breakfast delights. So you can imagine my excitement when the team at The Botanist got in touch to tell me about the new breakfast menu that they’ve just launched and invited me along to try it…

The Botanist comes to Cheltenham

Have you heard about the new bar in town? Located on the corner of the Brewery quarter in Cheltenham lies The Botanist, an award-winning bar and restaurant that is best known for it’s botanical cocktail creations and gorgeous almost jungle-esque interior.

The perfect spot for a date night or after work drinks with friends, let me tell you more…

Date Night at Zizzi Italian, Cheltenham

Italian cuisine is my weakness. Pizza, pasta, Aperol Spritz… I don’t think there is any dish or beverage I don’t like. Italy has become my favourite place to visit and let’s not forget to mention my love for Italian leather handbags. So when the team at Zizzi in Cheltenham got in touch and asked if I would like to check out their beautiful newly refurbished restaurant and menu, I took the opportunity to turn it into the perfect date night to spend with my love after a busy week at work.

Brunch at The Bottle of Sauce

It’s been a while since we went out for brunch so I was over the moon to receive an invite to try out the new brunch menu at our favourite burger spot in Cheltenham, The Bottle of Sauce. Grab a cuppa and read on to find out more…

Brunch at Boston Tea Party

Brunch at Boston Tea Party has always been a favourite pastime of mine. I remember most Saturdays my bestie and I would always find the excuse after a circuits class to go to BTP for the eggs benedict and revel in how good we felt (I mean, we earnt that breakfast, right?)

Read on to find out more about the new menu and who we bumped into…
