I’ve been thinking a lot lately about what to share on the blog. With a few foodie posts written, I thought it was about time I mentioned a few of my current favourite fashion pieces, especially as I’ve been quite ‘spendy’ lately. My most worn pieces have mostly involved wearing three items from Georgina Bywater Jewellery – not surprising to many of you who follow me on Instagram. Take a look for yourself at how beautiful the pieces are – and it’s a local Cotswold business too!

“All our collections are very carefully curated along simple, fluid, clean lines to represent beautiful, informal everyday styling. Each piece is elegant, yet understated. We have a very strong belief that jewellery should simply enhance, not complicate an outfit”.

I first discovered Georgina Bywater Jewellery back in July when I began to look for stall holds to take part in my charity fundraising event The Cotswolds Creative Market (you can read more about that here).

The simplicity of the pieces really drew me in and even encouraged me to re-think my current shopping habits. Now, I’m not saying that you can’t be shopping for jewellery in Accessorize when you’re knocking on the door of 30, but I would like to start investing in pieces that will last longer and on occasion hold significant memories for me – like all the items featured in this post.

Sterling Silver and Rose Gold Vermeil Unity Friendship Bracelet – in grey.

If you follow me on social media (particularly Instagram) then you’ll know how much I adore my rose gold vermeil Bee necklace. I bought it on the day of The Cotswolds Creative Market as a special memento from the day and the bee holds a personal meaning too. I don’t think there has been a day since I bought it back mid August that I haven’t worn it…well, until last Thursday that is.

I accidentally caught the chain on a piece of clothing as I was changing for work and the piece of metal that binds the pendant and chain together broke off. In panic, I messaged Georgina to ask if she could fix it and within minutes I got a friendly reply to say it would be no problem. I was asked to drop off the box at her office Thursday lunchtime and I could pick it up by Monday – now that’s what I call great customer service!

“Our customers are the most important part of our business; excellent customer care is the cornerstone of Georgina Bywater Jewellery”

One of the perks of supporting a local business perhaps, but also because I know that Georgina puts her heart and soul into what she does and her success comes down to her passion for creating timeless quality pieces of jewellery.

I’ve included my top jewellery picks below, perfect gifts for birthday and Christmas gifts – or if you’re like me and like to treat yourself now and then…

*The Silver and Rose Gold Unity Friendship Bracelet was kindly gifted to me by Georgina Bywater Jewellery. All other jewellery pieces were bought with my own money.
