If you’ve been here from the start, you’ll have noticed a few changes on the blog over the last three years. Nothing drastic, you know, just the odd modification now and then to make it look a little prettier and to keep up with ongoing blog trends. It feels like the right time to spruce up my little space in the blogosphere, here’s to a new chapter!

I hope you love it as much as I do! Believe me when I tell you that it took me a long, long time to decide on whether I should take the plunge and find my feet in the big world of self hosting (thank goodness for work colleagues who are so tech-savvy), decide on a theme and then panic at how much the whole thing would cost me. If you’d like me to write a separate post on entering the world of self-hosting, let me know in the comments or tweet me.
When I started to look back at old posts from 2013, I realised just how much I’d changed. Not just online, but offline too. Especially offline, as any twenty-something would, and what I was writing about back then had no relevance to my interests now so I decided to make a change. The new Katie Charlotte is much simpler to navigate, there are new corners to explore and let’s not ignore the fancy slider on the homepage and Instagram footer. I’ve dropped the Blogs too, despite what the URL and social handles may say (I’m currently trying to obtain desired name on all media channels) and please, call me Kate (again, despite what the URL and social media handles say).
I have new content ready to share with you, including a new series of posts which will be known as ‘Hidden Gems of the Cotswolds’. I am bursting with fresh ideas and want you lovely lot to get more involved – please leave me plenty of comments and share your blogs with me, new blog rules!
