Rose Gold Nails for Autumn - Katie Charlotte Blogs

A friend of mine recently sported these gorgeous gold nails which left me with a serious case of nail envy. Being the nail paint fiend I am, I went out to hunt this colour down and I think it could be my new favourite shade.

Metallics are one of the hottest trends this A/W, seen on the catwalk at Vivienne Westwood and Manish Arora’s shows to name just two.

I’m not usually one for metallic nails, but the formula of this No7 gel-look nail paint has a gorgeous foil effect which I am obsessed with. Even for a pale gal like myself the colour is warm and flattering on my skin and it’s the perfect subtle but glam alternative to other Autumn/Winter shades I usually opt for. *Must step away from deep greens and berry tones*

You can apply just the one coat or layer it up a couple of times, which I have done, for a bolder and longer lasting finish. When it comes to staying power, well I’ve only had it on for about 14 hours, but so far so good – streak-free and still looking fabulous! I’m always so impressed with No7 polishes, despite usually choosing shades from other brands like Rimmel and Essie, their gel formula leaves my nails super shiny and the application is quick and easy.
