Two festivals in a week – I wasn’t joking in my last post when I said that festival season was upon us! Keeping it local again, we headed to the Cheltenham Racecourse for music, food and other activities at the festival that Time Out calls “an excellent hybrid of the Big Chill, WOMAD and The Cambridge Folk Festival.” Celebrating its 15th year, here is what you can expect from a weekend at Wychwood Festival…
Festival season is upon us! The Cotswolds is home to a variety of fantastic festivals – from Cheltenham Festival (horse racing) and Cheltenham Festivals (Jazz, Science, Music and Literature), to The Big Feastival, we are really spoilt for choice. One festival I hadn’t come across before though was Mello, a family friendly festival based near Worcester. I was kindly invited to go along for the day, so with my best friend in tow, we made our way to Mello Festival…

Recently a few friends and I enjoyed fun, food and frolics by the sea at the Sidmouth Folk Festival. The weather was glorious (before it took a grey turn for the worst the following afternoon, in typical British summertime fashion) so we enjoyed our first evening by the coast sat in the garden with bubbles, sangria, and one helluva fabulous feast!
