Sorrento is my favourite holiday destination to date.
Over recent years, Sorrento has become a popular choice for tourists of all ages and it’s not hard to see why. Aside from sun and sea, it boasts the most beautiful views, delicious food and drink and the people are so so friendly. If you haven’t thought about visiting the Amalfi Coast before now, this post may tempt you.
A couple of days before our trip to Sorrento came to an end, we spent potentially the hottest day of the holiday in Pompeii. It was one of my favourite parts of history taught at school so I couldn’t wait to visit such a historic city!

Spring has sprung, which means sunshine and warmer weather – yay! When the weather gets better I instantly get into holiday mode and yesterday it made me think about my favourite family holiday to date. Last May we visited Sorrento in Italy and I instantly fell in love with the place. The people, the food and drink, the culture – it felt homely and we were greeted with so many friendly faces.
