Hello! Long time no post. Well, there have been a few sporadic posts here and there. If I’m being honest, and I always try to be on this little corner of the blogosphere, I haven’t been 100% happy with the content I’ve created over the past few months. It’s time to do something different, take a break from the blog and get perspective.
It’s been almost a year since I found myself reaching for my dreams and grabbing an opportunity that I created for myself with both hands. One year on and I’ve come full circle, back to where I was before but as a completely different person. I’m happy, confident and unlike the old Kate who would shy away from facing fears, I now leap at the chance to prove that I’m capable of whatever I put my mind to. Along the way however, I’ve somehow lost my blog mojo – lacking inspiration and motivation to create exciting content for this online sanctuary that has always been a positive platform for me. Taking a break can be good for the mind, body and soul…
I’ve decided to make a big change around this neck of the woods, Katie Charlotte Blogs will be undergoing a re-brand!
Next month, I’ll be re-launching the blog with a new layout, new content and a new schedule (one that I will try my darn hardest to stick to). I want this blog to ooze with inspiring content. More exciting travel hotspots, more fashion favourites and life chats that you can relate to.
I’m giving myself a break to get my blog back to a happier place, but I’ll still be posting regular content over on Instagram.
I recently attended a workshop at the Cheltenham Literature Festival about building your online brand, run by the lovely Emma Gannon. After chatting with her after the event she gave me that extra boost of confidence by advising me to take a leap of faith and make the change. Emma’s done it herself with hers (Girl Lost in the City), other bloggers have done it and perhaps now it’s my time to make the jump.
After all, if nothing changes, nothing grows.
A heartfelt thank you to every single one of you who has stuck by me and the blog. Whether you’ve been here since day 1 or day 1000, I can’t wait to return with something special. Keep your eyes peeled…..
