Bristol Fashion Week has been one of the highlights of 2015. At the start of this month I went along to The Mall for another season of gorgeous fashion trends, straight from the high street and onto the catwalk.

You don’t need to worry about missing LFW, everything you need happens at The Mall at Cribbs Causeway twice a year and the pieces you see are so affordable that you could probably pick out several outfits for the price of one designer handbag. Also, where else do you see models dance down the catwalk?!

The sun was shining so I opted for something summery, sticking to the monochrome trend with a pop of colour in the kimono – all high street, of course.

After a cheeky bit of shopping and an obligatory gingerbread latte, we headed to the catwalk. The theme was ‘at the movies’ and we were greeted with popcorn and juices, courtesy of Marks and Spencer.

Presented by stylist Mark Heyes and the gorgeous Denise Van Outen, we were treated to ten scenes where each brand had a different theme. Here are a few of my favourite pieces from the show…

All of the pieces were gorgeous, from seventies chic to the monochrome vibes with an injection of brightly coloured hosiery, I wanted it all. The crimped hair took me back to the 90’s, back to when it was cool but I’m not so sure I could work the look now. I am more than happy however to sport the autumnal red lip, I’ve given my pink hues a rest and prefer to opt for the deep reds and berry tones during Autumn/Winter. I fell in love with the beautiful grey faux fur trim coat by Bruce Oldfield, it just oozes elegance and luxury. Myself and Sophie went to hunt it down in John Lewis after the show, where we sipped on champagne as we wandered around the store – the best way to spend a Thursday night, right?

Did you see any of the shows?  I’m excited for next season’s show already! You can check out the full report over at The Mall Cribbs Causeway website.
